The exhibition «The Ancient Greek Civilization and their Amazing Inventions», being held at Limassol Marina’s ΤΡΑΚΑΣΟΛ Cultural Centre, opened its doors to the public on the 6th of January and is now ready to welcome visitors keen to learn more about the technology of the ancient Greeks and their inventions.

Following the official opening, in the presence of the HE Ambassador of Greece Mr Ilias Fotopoulos, the Limassol Mayor Mr Nicos Nicolaides and other elite guests, the exhibition aims to enrich our knowledge of the ancient Greeks’ life and behaviour. A range of functional models, including the “robot-servant” of Philo, the “hydraulic telegraph” of Aeneas, the “cinema”of Hero, the automatic clock of Ctesibius, the astrolabe of Ptolemy and the “analogue computer” of Antikythera, are all available for viewing from the Museum of Ancient Greek Technology. 

Organised by the TrakArt Development Foundation and Banc De Binary, the exhibition is open daily until the 12th of February during the following hours:

Monday – Thursday: 08:00 – 13:00, 16:00 – 19:00
Friday: 08:00 – 13:00, 16:00 – 20:00
Saturday – Sunday: 11:00 – 20:00
