Limassol Marina has teamed up with
Enviromotion Ltd, to add to its fleet of environmentally friendly vehicles with award winning
Gocycle electric bikes for staff to use around the Marina.
The clever folding electric bike was designed by McLaren cars' designer Richard Thorpe in London. Celebrity Gocycle owners include Christiano Ronaldo, Eddie Jordan, Chris Evans and Cara Delevingne.
The Gocycle is enjoying enormous worldwide success within the boating community for its suitability in and around marinas. Elegant, lightweight, ingenious and fun, it provides an easy and efficient way of getting around town, the open road or along the beachfront.
Not only is the Gocycle foldable and lightweight, the magnesium alloy frame is resistant to salt water corrosion, partly why the bike is very popular in marinas. Super light and super fun, its Lithium ion battery is hidden within the sleek frame and there are no external cables to spoil its sleek looks. Even the chain is hidden to protect from damage, which means there is no oil, sprockets or gears, therefore no mess!
Enviromotion Ltd is selling the revolutionary Gocycle through its trade partners on the island. Enquiries can be made at Limassol Marina’s
Blue Point Yachting and
Princess Yachts. Both shops have demonstration models in their showrooms. Gocycle will be available for test rides at the forthcoming
Limassol Boat Show, 5-7 May 2017 in stand area A.
Part of a broader plan to continue educating visitors and residents about environmental responsibility, management, safety, services and protection, Limassol Marina is on its way to becoming the first Blue Flag Marina in Cyprus.
