Limassol Marina kick-started this year’s festive season on Saturday the 25th of November with a festive event in the Marina Square in the presence of the Limassol Mayor, the property and marina residents, all project staff and thousands of visitors.
Radio producer, Marios Papadopoulos, and
Kanali 6 hosted the live link in Christmas spirit with a range of classic songs. The Limassol Mayor, Mr Nicos Nicolaides, members of the Limassol Municipal Council and Limassol Marina’s CEO, Mr Andreas Christodoulides, welcomed the crowd by switching on the array of festive lights surrounding the Christmas tree, specially decorated in white helms and snowflakes. An entertainment program with the Limassol Philharmonic Orchestra, mulled wine, roasted chestnuts, treats, decorations and a range of other Christmas delights and activities were also on offer in support of
Funraising Charity Foundation. Also, the
IPH House of Arts created an interesting kids workshop with handmade Christmas cards that all people were able to design while the Santa Claus arrived at Limassol Marina from the sea, sharing Christmas gifts to all children.
The festive month springs more surprises as Christmas celebrations continue at Limassol Marina with dozens of events and activities, such as
Santa’s Workshop on 16th and 17th December, organised by and in support of the
Funraising Charity Foundation. More
Weekend Festivities will be spreading the magical spirit, with four different Limassol-based bands - featuring talented musicians, carollers and choristers - singing and playing beloved Christmas classics and angelic carols at the Square in December.
What is more, Limassol Marina hosts a spectacular
Christmas Village, an impressive winter wonderland, with dozens of entertaining games, rides and Christmas stalls, which has been attended by the real Santa Claus from Rovaniemi, Lapland! Set against
ΤΡΑΚΑΣΟΛ Cultural Centre, the park will be offering a unique winter experience from 1st December 2017 to 7th January 2018 and it will be open from 16:00 - 22:00 on weekdays and from 11:00 - 22:00 on weekends and public holidays.
