EU Citizenship/Cypriot Passport
The existing scheme for the acquisition of Cypriot (EU) Passports / Citizenship to non-EU citizens, allows applicants to invest €2.5 million in a Collective Investment, worth at least €12.5 million, and accompanied by a property purchase of €500.000 in value. Should the applicant invest in the purchase of privately-owned property alone, he/she is no longer obligated to participate in the additional purchase of a €500.000 property. Applicants not wishing to participate in the Collective Investment scheme must make direct investments of at least €5 million in Cyprus.
 
With new and accelerated procedures in place, the application process takes under 3 months- provided the applicant meets all criteria.
 
Non-EU citizens who are granted a Cypriot Passport / EU Citizenship, benefit from the legal rights and privileges of natural born EU citizens. They are entitled to live, travel, invest, work, study and buy property anywhere in the EU. Once obtained, eligibility is also passed on to applicants’ children and their descendants.
