The Colour in the City

Organised by the Pancyprian Broadcasting Station Kanali 6, in cooperation with the Cyprus Photographic Society, Limassol Branch, The Colour in the City Exhibition features photos from the competition and opens this evening at Limassol Marina’s ΤΡΑΚΑΣΟΛ Cultural Centre.

Colours dominate around us and are very important, as they accompany our everyday life and affect our mood. The collection of photos were taken in cities across Cyprus using bright colours as the main theme and portraying urban landscape. They include movement and perception of the urban environment, with its modern, classic and traditional architecture, as well as scenes of daily life in the city.

In total 418 photos were submitted by 50 photographers. The judges selected 150 for the exhibition which will be inaugurated on Wednesday 30th September at 19:30 by the Limassol Mayor. The exhibition will continue on Thursday 1st October from 10:00 until 20:00.
