Dedicated to presenting contemporary creative documentaries in Cyprus, the “Limassol International Documentary Festival” is organised every August by the non-profit organisation Brave New Culture. In addition to workshops and lectures, as part of the festival, the event will offer local professional directors and producers the opportunity to become acquainted with the latest trends in the documentary genre and to get informed on prospects for fundraising or promotion of their own projects in the broader European spectrum.
 
The festival will take place from the 1st to the 8th of August at the Evagoras Lanitis Centre and aims to establish itself as a quality documentary festival. The Cultural Services of the Ministry of Education and Culture of Cyprus are major sponsors. The event is organised in collaboration with CyBC (Cyprus Broadcasting Corporation).
