Limassol Marina, in collaboration with the charity organisation “Hug with Love”, will be assisting in the efforts to help those tragically affected by the fatal explosion in Lebanon. Trakasol Cultural Centre has been made available gratuitously for the collection of various essential items for people in Lebanon and Limassol Marina invites everyone to respond to this critical initiative being carried out.

Being the only collection point for the charity organisation in Limassol, Trakasol Cultural Centre will be open to the public every day from 08:00 to 20:00 to receive all donated goods which will be sent to Lebanon. Volunteers will be on-site accepting a range of items including long-lasting dry food, medicines, protective masks and gloves, antiseptics, clothes, sheets and blankets, etc. The transport and delivery of these donations will be undertaken by the charity organisation while its representative in Lebanon will oversee the delivery and transport of the items in Beirut.  

Highlighting its humanitarian spirit, Limassol Marina considers its duty to contribute to the philanthropic efforts of Cyprus in assisting neighbouring Lebanon. General Director of Limassol Marina, Mr Nikiforos Pampakas, also says, “At Limassol Marina, we consider it our obligation to help Lebanon and this decision was taken without hesitation”.
