“Carnival on the sea” celebrations across Limassol Marina

 

Carnival season in Cyprus is about to begin! This vibrant celebration is characterised by an exciting mix of carnival events held throughout the city of Limassol and across Limassol Marina’s restaurants, cafes, and bars! This year’s “Carnival on the sea” celebrations at the Marina are set to deliver a fantastical carnival experience, highlighted by pulsating music and dance and brightly coloured costumes. Over the carnival period, visitors to Limassol Marina can enjoy an incredible repertoire of extraordinary events across the development.

 

On 16 February, Gazebo Mare will kick off the highly anticipated “Carnival on the sea” festivities by getting visitors into the carnival mood with not one but two vibey events! From midday to late into the night, patrons can indulge in delicious food and drinks against the stunning backdrop of the sun and sea! This includes a “Meze & Music” lunch accompanied by renowned DJ Demis on the decks, and a “Meze & Music” dinner elevated by the traditional kantades and festival songs live by Kantadoro! The fun at Gazebo Mare continues the 19th and 26th of February with live music performances by the incredible duo Gino and Sandra bringing visitors epic Havana Carnival sounds to get into the unforgettable spirit of the occasion. On 25th February, Kantadoroi will return to Gazebo Mare, entertaining patrons with a live performance of spirited local tunes.

The Gazebo Mare “The Picnic Concept” on Green Monday is also back for this year again at Gazebo Mare on 27th February. During that day, all guests will get a picnic basket full of traditional fasting foods specifically consumed on this special day, such as fresh vegetables, dips and traditional “lagana”, octopus, calamari, prawns, and delicious desserts, which they will be able to enjoy at the resto area or at the grass near the beach bar in a picnic style accompany with live music by Candy Nicolaou and Andreas Ioannou.

 

Marina Breeze from 16th February was attacked and processed by pirates who had transformed the venue into a pirate lodge until 26th February. An amazing pirate decoration adoring the restaurant! Over the carnival period, guests at Marina Breeze can enjoy their dining and dancing on the sea experience with an amazing blend of party Carnival sounds with live DJs on the tracks every Friday and Saturday night. On 26 February, Marina Breeze will mark the end of the carnival season with a “Pirates Carnival All Day Party”. Starting at 11:00, this pirate themed event will host a live DJ, dancers and even pirates! Combined with a brunch, lunch, afternoon drinks and dinner, this will undoubtedly be a carnival party to remember.

 

Epsilon Resto Bar at Limassol Marina will also be celebrating the carnival season with an incredible mix of party sounds with live DJs who will be bringing visitors incredible carnival sounds every Saturday night. On Saturday, 18th February, crazy DJ Demis will bring “Carnival Fever’ to Epsilon Resto Bar from 21:00. This will be followed by an epic “Party Time No Serious Attitudes Allowed” during which guests can dance the evening away to a heady blend of carnival beats. Epsilon Resto Bar will close off the carnival season on 26 February with a “Stay Out of The Box Party” with DJ Demis. Nothing will make for a more memorable day to remember than the rhythmic energy that this all-day carnival party will bring, starting at 18:30.
