Limassol Marina part of the Beach Clean-up of Akti Olympion B’

In the spirit of World Maritime Day, CYMEPA and the Representation of the European Commission in Cyprus organised a bi-communal beach clean-up of Akti Olympion B’, (Thalassokoritso) in Limassol on Wednesday, 23rd of September 2020. 

The event will be held under the auspices of the Environment Commissioner Ms Klelia Vasiliou and supported by the Municipality of Limassol. Participants in this green initiative included CYMEPA members and supporters such as Limassol Marina Ltd, Cyprus Shipping Chamber (CSC), WISTA, YoungShip, Master Mariners Association, Enalia Physis and DP World Limassol. Open to the public, the Stelios Philanthropic Foundation also sponsored caps, T-shirts, gloves and refreshments for volunteers. The participants are requested to strictly follow the safety and hygiene protocols.
