‘Alfarale The Genesis’, an alternative and interactive SOLO art exhibition by Rafaella Christoforou, will be held at Trakasol Culture Centre at Limassol Marina, from 21st to 31st March 2021.  

 

This exhibition will examine the idea of an authentic Genesis and the birthing by the artist of a new alphabet which she has aptly named Alfa’Rale after the alphabet (Alfa) and the abnormal sound of the chest (Rale). Rafaella is unique in her artistic approach, painting the feeling of writing and the emotion of a letter by hand. Focusing on this process and the genesis, she is able to develop an inimitable alphabet of new signs and objects, a sometimes ‘unreadable’ alphabet.

Open to the public, this event will take visitors on an unprecedented journey of artworks consisting of different mediums and scales like writings, paintings, 3D installations, video, live performances, and more.  The artist will also offer two creative art workshops for children and adults, exploring a range of themes. 

 

 

Part of the proceeds of this event will be donated to PSET.
