Join us for a day dedicated to the environment for a greener tomorrow
 
Limassol Marina is gearing up for a fun Sunday when paddlers will become heroes, everyone will enjoy interactive and educational activities, and music will carry the mood into the evening. A whole day dedicated to the environment as part of the Limassol Marina’s initiative “Going Green Together”.

Based on the global zero waste principles of Reduce, Reuse and Recycle, the event will begin at 08:00 with the popular “Clean the beach with your SUP” (stand up paddle) at Limassol Marina’s Peninsula Beach and run until about 11:00. While everyone taking part will paddle along the coastline and help clean up the surface of the sea along the way, Limassol Marina’s diving team will dive into the surrounding water and clean up deeper parts of the sea from plastic materials or other objects.

The second part of the event will take place at the Limassol Marina Square from 16:00 – 19:00 where a fun and educational afternoon will await all visitors. Families and friends can take part in interactive activities and learn about how we can reduce the amount of waste we produce, how we can reuse everyday objects, and which materials can be recycled. Learning through interaction and fun will continue with a live art installation, workshops, games, presentation and Mix FM streaming live from the square from 15:00 – 17:00. The music will continue until the sun goes down with some entertaining live performances.
