Santa’s Workshop
15th - 16th December
The city’s most popular Christmas arts and crafts workshop is ready to transform Limassol Marina into a magical place of festive fun. Organised by Funraising Charity Organisation, this much-anticipated annual event will take place on Saturday and Sunday, 15th and 16th of December 2018, from 11:00 to 19:00, at ΤΡΑΚΑΣΟΛ Cultural Centre, Limassol Marina, under the auspices of the Mayor of Limassol, Mr Nicos Nicolaides.

An alternative way of experiencing Christmas, Santa’s Workshop offers to children the opportunity to become creative by learning how to craft their own memorable decorations, pottery and Christmas tree ornaments using wood, polystyrene, paper and dough. Participants are invited to discover the smells, sounds and sights of the season with a series of interactive activities including storytelling, singing and dancing performances, as well as Christmas carols. Jolly old Santa and his elves will also be there to pose with children, while the Funraising Fairies will be transforming the kids’ little faces into amazing creatures and colourful animals. As for adults, they will have a unique opportunity to taste and purchase handmade delights of all kinds, to decorate their own Christmas apron and discover a variety of interesting books.

In this cheerful atmosphere, Funraising will be generously spreading some Christmas magic and fun, brightening up this holiday season. Through this family-friendly event and a series of other activities, Funraising Charity Organisation supports annually over 200 low-income families offering food, clothes, shoes, school lessons, special teachers and scholarships to students.

The entrance is free and the participation in craft activities will be €15 per child with a special price for siblings. For more information, please visit Santa’s Workshop Facebook event page.
