Mark your sporting calendars for the island’s second Coastal Regatta. Cyprus is raising the bar in the world of yacht racing, inviting all captains and crew from the Cyprus yachting community to take part in this prestigious nautical event. The Cyprus Coastal Regatta promises another unforgettable day on the Mediterranean’s azure waters, building on the success of its inaugural edition. Join us as we continue this growing annual tradition of international long-distance yacht racing around the island, celebrating skill, competition, and the vibrant maritime lifestyle that makes Limassol Marina the hub of yachting excellence.

Organised by Limassol Marina and F&S Marinas, this dynamic sailing competition is open to all offshore sailing boats, berthed in Cyprus for this year, with a valid ORC International, ORC Club Certificate, ORC Light or with no Certificate that accept a Handicap by estimate, based on similar yachts and issued by the ORC representative in Cyprus.

The race itself will take place on 1^st May 2026, with a route that will begin at Limassol Marina at 10:00, and finish at Limassol Marina between 16:00 and midnight, with a 23:59 time limit.

A Skippers Meeting will be held on 30^th April at Limassol Marina where registrations will take place, followed by drinks and an opportunity for yachters to share their excitement about the upcoming race.

The event will culminate on 2^nd May, with a prize-giving ceremony at Limassol Marina. There will be four classes that will receive 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd place trophies:

• Line Honors: Based purely on the fastest boats to reach the finish line, without any handicap adjustments.
• ORC Class: Open to boats with a valid ORC handicap certificate that is at least 3 years old.
• Cruising Class: Open to boats with ORC Light or without an ORC certificate, which will receive a handicap based on similar yacht approximations.
• Sport Boat Class: Far East 28 Sport Boat class

Further prizes and trophies may be awarded to crews and boats based on number of participating boats. Berthing for all participants will be available for free, two days prior and two days after the end of the race.
