Limassol Marina proudly hosts Limassol’s celebrations for the European Mobility Week, by hosting the Limassol Tourism Board’s event in its premises this September.
The Limassol Tourism Board organises for the sixth year on Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 of September 2025, from 18:00 to 22:00, at the Limassol Marina Square, the Sustainable Mobility Festival. The festival features bicycle exhibition, the opportunity to ride an electric bike, electric vehicles and EV chargers, electric public transport, car sharing, educational and fun games, experiential activities and many surprises.
The event is aiming to encourage the public to adopt practices that will contribute to creating a more sustainable future for everyone. Participating organisations will promote the use of public transport, bicycles and electric vehicles as means of transportation to reduce emissions, encourage environmental protection and improve quality of life.
This year's European Mobility Week 2025 themed ‘Mobility for All’. Mobility for Everyone is about making sure all people can access sustainable transport, no matter their income, location, gender or abilities. Many people face challenges like high-cost or lack of transport options that limit their access to jobs, education and essential services; this is known as transport poverty.
In 2025, European Mobility Week invites us to envision and build towards a society where transport services are available, accessible, affordable, inclusive and safe, ensuring that public transport, walking and cycling are fair options for everyone. The European Social Climate Fund helps communities and households adapt to these changes by supporting affordable, sustainable mobility solutions. The event is supported by the Deputy Ministry of Tourism.
The event is open to the public and the entrance is free for all. For more information, please contact Limassol Tourism Board by email at info@limassoltourism.com, call +357 25 577 130 or visit their official Facebook page.
