The Association of Large Investment Projects
The Association of Large Investment Projects’ latest Board of Directors meeting took place at the impressive Limassol Marina. The Board members were taken on a tour of the ultramodern Marina, before holding a meeting that focused on land development projects, efforts to attract investment and ways of speeding up procedures to implement large investments.

The completion of Limassol Marina, which is part of the investment projects represented by the Association of Large Investment Projects, boosts the Cyprus economy’s competitiveness and significantly improves Cyprus’ image as an attractive investment destination. The implementation of the project brings multiple benefits, such as new job positions, the upgrade of the area surrounding Limassol’s historical centre and the growth potential for the country’s broader economy.

According to the Association’s Press Spokesman, Andreas Demetriades, “The implementation of pending large investment projects will prove a catalyst in restarting the growth process and creating new jobs in Cyprus.” He added: “Quite a few of the projects represented by the Association are at an adequate level of maturity, which allows for their swift completion. These include golf courses, marinas, health and wellness centres, theme parks, commercial and housing developments, and more.”

The mission of the Association of Large Investment Projects is to promote and implement large investments in Cyprus. The Association is a member of the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) and represents over 25 companies that are active in Cyprus. The Association’s members come from the entire spectrum of the Cyprus economy and represent projects worth a total of over €8 billion.
