Local tastings by the sea
 
The famous annual Limassol Wine Festival begins on the 27th August and continues until the 6th of September. Taking place at the Limassol Municipal Gardens, the festival celebrates the history of wine production in Cyprus. Local music, dancing, food, wine, firework displays, singing and the traditional treading of the grapes provide nights of endless entertainment just a few steps away from the seafront. Opening hours are from 19:00 until 23:00 during the week and from 19:00 until 23:30 from Friday to Sunday.
