Limassol Marina supports Climate Neutral Blue Cities conference

On 19-20 March, Limassol welcomed the international conference ‘Climate Neutral Blue Cities by 2030: Accelerating Local Change under the EU Cities and Ocean Mission,’ a two-day forum that brought together leading European and local stakeholders to explore how coastal and port cities can move more rapidly towards climate neutrality. 

Organised by the Municipality of Limassol within the framework of the EU Mission for 100 Climate-Neutral and Smart Cities by 2030 and supported by the EU Mission ‘Restore our Ocean and Waters,’ under the auspices of the Cyprus Presidency of the Council of the European Union 2026, the conference brought together policy makers, industry leaders, researchers, investors and civil society representatives. The programme focused on fostering collaboration, exchanging knowledge, and identifying practical strategies to accelerate the green and blue transition.
